I'm a skilled painter and decorator with over 15 years experience. I started painting and decorating again at the beginning of 2022, having been out of the business for 10 years. I did a refresher course to sharpen my skills and decided to offer my services to private and commercial properties in Loughborough and surrounding areas. I pride myself on being a clean and tidy worker who offers quality at a good price.

Decorating has changed a lot in recent times, for example, dustless sanding is more widely used in customers homes. I use different types of sanding equipment and they all connect to a dustless system to help keep the work place clean and safe.

As the name BK Decorspray suggests, I decorate using spray equipment but only when possible. It is still nice to use a brush and roller. Spraying is mainly used for outside jobs or in a building where nobody is living at the time of decorating.

I do not use oil based paints as the quality of water based has improved. It’s hard to see the difference and with less toxic smells and quicker drying time, it’s a must for my business.

"This picture is a combination of before and after shots. In the before shots, you can see a textured surface under the paint that needed to be removed first. Then, the whole shop front was primed, filled, and primed again before adding some wooden paneling. After that, three topcoats were applied."
